Module 1 - Introductions
In this module we got to know each other!
Sandro Zanetti Introduction:
Hello! My name is Sandro Zanetti. I am an openminded person who
likes to have fun with other persons. Here at Snow College in Utah, USA
I take ESL (English as a Second Langugage) Classes, because I am from Switzerland.
So, my native language is German. Next quarter, when my English will be
good enough, I will take regular classes. Probably I will take Geologie,
Geographie, English and American History. Here in the USA I stay with a
host family. My host mother is teacher at Snow College, but I have no calsses
with her. The freetime I spend the most time outdoors with mountainbiking
and hiking in the summer or skiing in the wintertime. The area near the
college is very cool for do the sports. Often I just cruise around with
friends in my car I bought recently. Greetngs Sandro Zanetti
Nehama Talker introduction:
My name is Nehama Talkar. People say I am a very quiet person, but
I disagree. It really depends on whom I amwith. I am a lazy person and
sleep any chance I get. I am not a very decisive person and hate having
to decide about important things. I live with my parents in Ashdod which
is a 35 minutes drive from Tel- Aviv but it takes longer by bus. I love
my city very much and I think it is very beautiful especialy because of
the clean beaches and magnificent sunsets. There are more then 50,000 citizens
in Ashdod and more immigrants come every day. I am the only child to two
wonderful parents, but I am never bored. In my free time (which I hardly
have) I watch t.v. and go to the movies. I watch all kinds of movies and
spend most of my time with my friends.

Ihave an assignment for you.
Try to answer this question by finding key words which will help you
find the answer quickly. This is called scaning (for specific information).
Scan through all of the introductions written by all of us.
1) Who are all the students in Israel who live in Petach- Tikva? (it
is usually written at the begining of each introduction)
2) From the list in the first question : Who lived in Jerusalem in
the past?
Who likes movies? (it is in the end)
O.K, I hope it's not too difficult. Write back to me and tell me how
long did it take you and if it was too easy (if it was, I can take
care
of it next time :) ).

Module 2 - Surfing the Net
In this module we surfed the net! and wrote poems about eachother

to surfing the net:
Surfing in the Internet was fun for me. To surf to the Universal
Studios was the best I did. Last year I was there. It was relly cool. Now
on the Universal Studio site I could see again the stuff I saw last year.
For a very short time I watched the CNN Web Page. I didn't like it that
much. I think that CNN on TV is much better than on the Internet because
on TV you get the information you want much faster than on the Internet.

Hi Frank,
Surfing on the internet was fun for me too. I had never
been to Disnyland but it seems wonderful. I love movies so
the Universal studios sight was a great pleasure. I guess
we have the same taste.
