In my free time I like watching T.V and to sleep.
Odelia gave Frank an exercise in scanning using the material from the introductions
Dear Frank!
As a teacher, I want to teach you one reading skill which is scanning.
In order to do it, you just have to find a specific information.
Here is the excercise which I prepered for you:
1. Look only on the pupils from Talpiot
2. Who loves reading books?
3. Do not read the whole introductions, just look for the words: reading
and books in the last sentences of each introduction.
Tell me please how much time did it take you to do it and if my
instructions were clear.
Take care
Odelia

Surfing in the internet was fun for me too.I agree with
your opinion. I like to listen to the CNN than reading it
from the computer because as you said it is quicker for me
to listen than to read.I liked the places in Utah and I
like the place.
Here is Frank's poem about Odelia - we had to write a lot of letters

of
earthquakes. I would like to visit Paris...

Francisco Article Summary:
01-12-97
Well what do you know it's me again...
Here is the answer to the sumarize article. I hope I can write down 200 words... here it goes...
Yeah the article is right we do have two different kinds of weddings.
The civil one: this one is, so that the society of our town knows that
you are married and the one for the church is because, we are most catholics
in Mexico so in our belives e have ot get married by God.
Well as you find out we have the civil one first because is a small
one and usually only your relatives wiil go there. Then the big one, the
one by the church; here usually the bride wears a long, pretty, white dress
as a sign of a good life li ng before her marriage, and the growm usually
wears a black smoking.
After the religious ceremony we usually go to a casino to have the
reception there. There you can dance with the bride and growm but you need
to stick money to their clothes in order to dance with them. After that
you can dance until 4:00 a.m. the morning very often.
But like you find out too, we also have parties for the bride to be
and for the growm to be before the wedding. Usually the bachelors party
is kind os strange because your frinds will try to make you do some wird
things. This kind of thing don' happen in the brides party; well not all
the time like in the bachelors, but sometimes they do.
I think that this kind of things are amizing, I love to go to the weddings.
I would like very much if you could send me a description of how are
your weddings in Israel.
Well hope that is enough... take care.

Francisco sent Odelia an article from USA today
Odelia Summary:
Hi Frank
Como estas?, I didn't tell you, but I know a little spanish from the
espaniol telenobelas ceyo beo aci in Israel! (I hope I wrote it
correctly, if not, I hope you understood what I meant).
Now to the serious bussiness...
I loved reading the article that you sent me. This is my summary,I
hope
you'll enjoy it. Please write me back of what you thinking about it.
This article describes thanksgiving break from different points of
view, the students who come back home and those who aren't and the
childrens' point of view.
What is thanksgiving? According to Webster's dictionary thanksgiving
is
an "expression of thanks to God" and Thanksgiving is a "U.S holiday".For
children, Thankgiving is an event where balloons float and they sing
traditional songs. For students, Thanksgiving is a break from studies
and also an opportunity to visit their families, because "there's no
place like home for the holidays". However, there are students who
remainin the campus because they live very far away from home. So,
they
celebrate it with a turkey sandwich, a bag of chips and a cup of
cranrberry sauce.
I hope you liked it.
Thanks your dearest
internet teacher!:)
