 Writing Exercise

Introduce Yourselves

pupils:

Answer the questions and make them into a paragraph

Important: When you have finished writing your paragraph, let another student go over what you have done and make changes together before publishing your final version on the Internet.

The questions to answer are:
What is your name?
What type of person are you?
What are you studying or specializing in?
Where do you live?- add some information about the place
Who is in your family?
What do you like to do in your free time?

write your paragraph in the forum press here

Students: We would like you to write an introduction about yourselves and publish it on the Internet for the world to see- However, we have made the process a bit easier -although maybe too structured for most of you. this is so that the pupils participating in the course can understand more easily. There are a number of questions and you have to answer each one and make it into a paragraph.

Now you're on your own! - but you can always get back here by pressing the BACK button. Just follow the instructions for publishing your introduction. First press here and then press on the NEW picture button to write a new message.

After Writing

After you have published your introduction, read what other people have written and correspond with any one you want using their e-mail address.

pupils: you will receive an exercise in your e-mail from your preservice teacher partner. Complete the exercise and return it to your partner with a cc to me and your in-class instructor. Your teacher will show you how to do this.

Preservice teachers: you are asked to make an exercise for an EFL participant . The exercise should use the information in the introductions to form a scanning exercise. Read up on scanning and then write an exercise. You will be given a partner and then asked to send the exercise to your partner. Please send a cc to me. You are also required to give feedback to the student when you receive the assignment back.
